
Sierra and Canyons de Guara Natural Park is located in the lower Pyreneen Mountains in the upper Aragon province of Spain 50km east of the town of Huesca. The park boasts a large concentration of canyons (over 80) located around Tozal de Guara Mountain (2077 meters above sea level).Six major rivers fed these canyons (Rio Vero, Rio Isuala, Rio Alcanadre, Rio Formiga, Rio Guatizalema and Rio Flumen). This natural area is a true paradise for avid canyoneers .The most know and popular of these canyons are the magnificient Mascun Canyon close of the delighful hamlet of Rodellar in the heart of the park. The second one is Canon del Vero percied by thousand alcove and some natural arches. Some of these alcove contains rock art. Multitude of soaring vultures can be observed on the entire area. If some of these canyons are strenious hike such the 12 hours round trip "
Gorgas Negras", some others like "Garganta de Barrasil" or "
