Valley of Fire State Park is located in Mojave Desert on the side of Lake Mead (at only one hour from Las Vegas). This colorful site has the largest concentration of mini arches (3 feet to 9 feet) in the world. Most of arches are formed in Aztec Sandstone. The red rock buttes presents at the visitors a striking contrast with the grey mountains around the valley.
