Arches National Park (Utah-USA)

Arches National Park is located in south-eastern Utah, 5 miles north from the town of Moab. The park contains over 2000 natural arches, but only one hundred significant openings can be considered. The park has been well known for a long time to exhibit the largest concentration of natural arches in the world. Since the middle of the 90´s, a systematic exploration of other areas in the world - as Canyonlands National Park or Sahara Plateau - by enthousiastic arch hunters has revealed those other outstanding sites as rich as this park with exceptional arch formations. However, without any doubt, the beauty of Arches N.P. is worldwide matchless. See also Skyline Arch, Ring Arch, Pothole Arch, Parallel Arch from above and below. Begins your visit with the world famous Delicate Arch.
