    Author of "Canyon Country Arches and Bridges" book, the most complete book (416 pages) about natural arch (geology formation, history, protection, etc...). For more information about him see NABS history.

  • BRANDT-ERICHSEN (David)

    Span (The newsletter of the Natural Arch and Bridge Society) Editor from 1994 to 2001. NABS webmaster since 2002. He has a lot contributed to the richness and expansion of the NABS's community. For more information about him see NABS history.

  • FAUSTINI (Arnaldo)

    Italian Geographer; first documented manscript about natural arch (1918) with 950 units. For more information about him see here.

  • HOROWITZ (Dany)

    Co-founder of "Natural Arch and Bridge Society" (NABS) and president from 1989 to 1992.

  • MC CARRICK (Edward)

    Seasionnal ranger at "Arches National Park"; co-author of "The arches of Arches National Park: a comprehensive study".

  • MILLAR (Ray)

    British arch hunter. He has documented many natural arches around the world for the "Journal of Natural Arch Discoveries" and SPAN. For more information about him see NABS history.

  • MOORE (Chris) 1964-2011

    Famous arch hunter; editor of the "Journal of Natural Arch Discoveries" (45 issues published). Editor of numerous arches guide books since 1992. For more information about him see NABS history.

  • MOORE (Bob)

    NABS president from 1998 to 2004.

  • RANNEY (Alex)

    Arch hunter; several great SPAN articles about Canyonlands National Park areas.

  • SOMBARDIER (Pascal)

    Pascal Sombardier became enthusiastic about natural arches after reporting to the public the previously unknown and now famous Tour Percée and L'Arche Miracle in the Chartreuse range in 2005. Since then, with the help of some fellow arch hunters (included Rafael Rodon, François Lannes, Pascal Souvion and Patrick Adam), he has reported numerous newly found natural arches (included spectacular Roche Pertuisa) in the french Alps regions of Chartreuse, Vercors and Devoluy near the city of Grenoble. Pascal is an avid mountaineer and editor and author of numerous books in the Montagne-Randnnée collection published by Glenat. He has also served as editor in chief for Montagnes Magazine.   • STEVENS (Dale) 1936-1996

    Professor of geography; co-author of "The arches of the Arches National Park: a comprehensive study". NABS president in 1995.

  • VAN BEBBER (Thomas)

    Creator of the first CD-Rom Data Base about natural arches, the "World Arch Database"; SPAN Editor from 2002 to 2007and NABS President from 2005 to 2010. For more information about him see NABS history.

  • VREELAND  (Robert) 1917-2005

    Pioneer arch hunter. Self-publisher of "Nature's Bridges and Arches" (18 booklets between 1976 and 1995). His outstanding pioneering about natural arches has resulted in a new generation of arch hunters enthousiasts. For more information about him see here.

  • WILBUR (Jay)

    Co-founder of "Natural and Bridge Society". SPAN Editor from 1988 to 1993 and again since 2010. NABS president between 1996 and 1997. For more information about him see NABS history.
