Canon del Vero

Canon del Vero is a popular hike and canyoneering trip located near the scenic medieval village of Alquezar in Sierra and Canyons de Guara Natural Park in Aragon province of Spain. This is a wonderful day trip about 8km where visitor can admire the spectacular geology formation along the banks of the Rio Vero. In addition of this great scenery, Canon del Vero has three undercuts included a gigantic one named "La Gran Visera", an nice "oscuros" (subterranean section) and an incredible non stop chaos (huge pile of rockfall into the river narrow) about several hundred meters. The two photos below was taken inside the chaos on a "deep chamber" that author called "the washing machine". A little rope can be useful for this trip for the less experienced persons and can help to pass several strenuous down climbing into the big chaos.
