The exceptional Canyon d'Aiglun is located on Esteron River Valley in Alpes-Maritimes department of France. This is a technical canyon due to the strong water flow of the Esteron River and many traps found along the descent of the spot. If the current is too strong once penetrated the canyon entrance, it is very dangerous to continue ahead. A rope of 30 meters for rappel is necessery (+ a second rope for help). Some waterfalls are also very dangerous and can trapped you against the current (as picture two). So be carefull, already several persons dies in this spot.
