The Narrows of Zion is located in Zion National Park, in Washington county, southwestern Utah, USA. Not really a canyoneering trip, this narrow canyon is a long hike (16 mile for the entire trip) along Virgin River on the river bed. As Virgin River drains a large watershed, river current can be strong in some place depending the season. Flashfloods is very dangerous in this canyon. The narrows sculptured through gigantic wall of Navajo sandstone is very spectacular and famous worldwide.
