This nice canyon, tributary of La Tinée river is located near the village of La Tour-sur-Tinée in Alpes-Maritimes department of France. The canyons shows unceasing series of pools and narrows until its confluence with La Tinée river. In august 2002, the author broke his ankle on the canyon. He had to be winched out of the depths by the crew of a hovering helicopter. He back two years later with Alex Oulevey to ended the canyon trip.
