Antelope Canyon (USA)

The lower Antelope Canyon (also called The Corkscrew) is located east of Page on Navajo Tribal Park in Navajo Nation, Arizona.  This is a spectacular slot canyon carved on Navajo sandstone. In 1997, a huge flash flood died over 10 peoples (included seven french) on this canyon. A commemorative plaque was placed on the canyon entrance.
