La cheminee de fee (Isere county). This arch is located above Muzelle Lake in the Ecrin National Park 2200 meters above sea level. The arch is mentionned on the IGN topographic map n° 3336 east "Les Deux Alpes" by red star (pleat 3E). Directions : From "Bourg-d'Oisans", drive road N91 (east) 5km and turn right on road D530. Drive D530 south for 8km to the little village of "Bourg d'Arud" and Veneon bridge. Cross the bridge and park at the campground (right). From the parking lot, take the marked trail GR 54 (Grand Route trail) for Muzelle Lake & mountain hut(signed).Hike up 3 hours this very scenic trail to Muzelle Lake and the mountain hut. The trail gains 1200 meters in altitude. Behind the mountain hut, walk the signed trail 10 minutes to the arch.
