Ring Arch (Courthouse Wash)

Ring Arch is located on the upper Courthouse Wash on Arches National Park on Grand county, Utah, USA. This pothole type natural arch is eroded through Entrada Sandstone and had a span of 13.5 meters. Sometime on Summer 2014, a large portion of the arch collapsed, leaving a fragile and slander arc of rock more thinner that the past. Photo taken from above 20 years before the partial collapse of the arch. From new regulation of the National Park, it is prohibited to climb up on any natural arch into the Park whitout permission.
