This pothole arch is located at the exit of "Gorges du Fier" on an area called "Mer de Rochers" (Sea of Rocks) near the village of Lovagny. The author recommended the visit of the deep narrow of "Gorges du Fier" (with charge for admission). Converted footbridges above Fier River provide a very scenic overlook inside the oustanding narrow. "La Mer de Rochers" is a higher arm of the gorges formed by the tumultuous overflow of Fier River. This upper arm is rare on geology formation. This opening is used by running overflow for returning to the main stream when flashflood occurs.
