L'Arche du Fier
This quintuple terraced pothole arch is located at the exit of the narrow of Fier River near the hamlet of "Pont-Verre" in Haute-Savoie department of France. In 1990, a huge flash flood of the Fier River drowned the deep gorges until 24 meters high. But the record is on January 1899 with 30 meters of high water level. The actually jammed logs resulted from the overflow of the last decade.
