L'Arche de Queyriere (portfolio)
This lost geologic marvel has been located thank to a ray of light through his span identified from the Faraut Mountain opposite to "La Croix de Queyriere". In july 11, 2009 a team of enthousiast arch hunter composed of François Lannes, Scal, Pascal Sombardier and the author pioneering a route to the arch. The arch is located on the west side of "La Croix de queyriere" mountain at 1950 meters above sea level on Devoluy massif, in Hautes-Alpes department of France. The arch has a measured span of 14 meters and a height of 5.5 meters. The route to the arch gains 1000 meters in altitude and require rope equipment to get under the span.
