This graceful arch is located on the bench above Bootlegger Canyon in Grand county and has a span of 140 feet. To visit the arch, drive highway 279 (north of Moab) for 9.2 miles along the Colorado River to a parking lot (right) just before the "Gold Bar". From the parking, a marked trail leads up to the spectacular arch in less than 30 minutes. This arch is the favourite of the author in Moab area. Try to find him below the span for scale.
