Pool Arch

Pool Arch is located on the remote area of "Behind the Rocks" in the south of Moab area. This very well-hidden arch is one of the author's favorite arch in Moab.

How to get there : From Moab main street, turn right at Mc Donald Restaurant on Kane Creek Boulevard. Drive Kane Creek road along Colorado River for 4.6 mile to the end of pavement. Park on the designated area. From there, hike east Pritchett Canyon O.2 mile to the first side canyon to the left. Hike up this side canyon straight ahead 1.5 mile to the arch. Hiking this canyon requiers climbing several chimneys on the way to the arch. This is a difficult hike not for everyone.
