London Bridge

From the intersection on hwy 313 and Dead Horse Point State Park road (The Knoll), drive down road 313 toward Moab for 2.5 mile and turn left on Mineral Bottom road. This signed unpaved road is also called Horsethief Trail and can be umpassable after rain due to muddy condition particulary in the switchbacks. Drive Mineral Bottom road 15 mile to Horsethief Bottom and turn left. Proceed on the 4wd road along Green River into Labyrinth Canyon to the park entrance (signed). Continue 2 mile more to Uppheaval Bottom and park. Hike east toward the impossing cliff of Buck Mesa. The arch can be see up on the cliff line. An access to the arch can be found without climbing aids but the way is a few steps. The arch has a span of 72 feet. The photo below was taken by the author from a risky vantage point during the 18th NABS convention in may 2004. Note the NABS members into the span for scale.
