In-Tafest Arch

In-Tafest Arch is located on Irekam-In-Tafest site, one of the entrance gate of Meddak Region of the vast Tassili National Park in Algeria. It is a 6 hours hike via the huge all year round Guelta of Tarlemt from Tissoukaï sites to the north. Irekam means on Tamahaq dialect "spires" who is very appropriated for this incredible area of hundred rounded spires, a great wonder. The main arch has a measured span of 6.7 meters and a height of 4 meters. GPS coordinate 25° 03.191' 9°26.296'
