La Roche Trouee (Alpes-Maritimes county). This arch has a span of 10.7 meters. Directions : At the north exit of the village of "Guillaumes", take on the left road D176 toward "Sauze" (just before the road tunnel). Drive up this zig-zag road 7.9km to the junction "Les Moulins". Park there and walk down the road you came 200 meters to the right sign "La Roche Trouee". Follow the 4wd road 100 meters to the hairpin bend and leave it. Then, hike (right) the yellow marked trail 30 minutes to the arch. The arch is visible south from several spot from the D176 road. The opening frames pleasantly the Mercantour mountains. Also visit the nearest site of "L'Arche des Portettes" (30km distant) and the wonderful red canyon of Daluis River (13km distant).
