L'Anse (The Handle) is located on the "Cirque de Moureze" in Herault county. The beautiful arch sitt on the side of "Gorge des Combasses" close of the little village of Moureze. The arch was named by Gaston Combarnous author of "Les Pierres qui Parlent" (The Spoken Rocks) which as catalogued many feature on the area. We do hope that these rocks will means somethings for you. The arch is eroded on dolomitic limestone and has a span of 9 meters. From Moureze village follow the red marked trail to the arch. Hiking map available at the village.
