This arch is located 300 meters northwest of ALG 557 (Cyclop Rock). The name of the arch comes from the spiny tailed lizard (uromastyx acanthinurus) common to the Tassili region. The angle of the photo considerably decreases the apparent span of the arch but shows the "lizard tail" as far as possible.
