El-Mandar Arch

El-Mandar Arch is located on the vicinity of Ozanéaré site on the vast Tassili National Park in Algeria. This splendid and fragile natural arch has a measured span about 22 meters and a height of 7.2 meters. Note the guide Mohamed Bilali and the author under the arch for scale. El-Mandar means "landscape" both in Arabic or Tamahaq dialect. It look like as "a little sister" of the famous Landscape Arch in Utah hence the name. GPS coordinate 24°33.744' 9°45.992'
