This splendid arch is located close to the small village of Cedar Hill (near Aztec) on the San Juan county in New Mexico. The arch has a span of 43 feet (13 meters) and is situated a few hundred meters from the Colorado-New Mexico state line. The region around Aztec is highly developed with oil and gas production. Its follows that a maze of unpaved roads given access to the opening is a bit confusing. However, the arch is shown as "natural arch" on the Cedar Hill 7.5 topo map. NABSQNO 13S-241113-4098592.
