Bright Angel Arch
Bright Angel Arch (a bridge in fact) is located on Navajo land near Page (Arizona) within the famous slot of Antelope Canyon (the down stream part is called the "Cork Screw") in Antelope Canyon Tribal Park. In 1997, a huge flash flood drowned 11 people in this canyon. A fee is charged by the Navajo Indians to enter this photogenic slot.
Fornocal Bridge
Fornocal Bridge is located in the Barranco (gulch) del Fornocal, one of the best canyons of Sierra de Guara Regional Park in the Aragon Province of Spain. This is a good example of pothole bridge type in a main drainage of this intermittent river.
Slot Canyon Bridge
This little bridge (also a pothole bridge) is located in the Perte de la Valserine site in Ain Province in France near the village of BelgardesurValserine. This site is well known in France because of the outstanding geology formations of the Valserine river. This river when overflowing formed a myriad of potholes in a large stretch of slabs. A second bridge (the window in background) is eroded into the partitioning of an upper pothole.
Spider Web Bridge
Also located in Ain Province, this triple bridge spans the slot canyon of Cerveyrieu near the village of Artemare. This site is famous for its spectacular waterfall of 70 meters jumping out of the slot into an amphiteater.
