Seven Bridges

Seven Bridges is located in El Malpais National Monument in central Cibola country of New Mexico, U.S.A . This is a succession of lava natural bridge eroded through a very long lava tube of basalt (over 1km long). Most of the lava tube was colapsed preserving only some part of the natural tunnel which formed several natural bridge. Big lava tube trailhead is located in backcountry 35 miles west of Grants off state hwy 53. Unfortunately, the last 10 miles is a rough road which require four wheel drive and can be impassable after rain. Visit this beautiful site can be limited -depending the season. On the photo from below, you can seen the second bridge in the background.
