Quadripod Tower is an unusual quadruple arch located on the west rim of Oumrak Canyon in the very remote Meddak region of Tassili-n-Ajjer plateau. It is located at GPS coordinate 25 degree 11.664'  9 degree 21.279'. Note the author beside the arch for scale. A close view of the arch showns the hidden fourth pillar. If you wish to visit once this spectacular arch, you have to know that you are there in total solitude. Visiting the arch requires a long 24 hours hiking one way. Do not surprised if you find there wild camels. This opening is an irregular type natural arch.
