Nant Natural Bridge is located on Nant de Tre-la-Tete torrent inside Tre-la-Tete Canyon in Mont-Blanc region near the ski area of Saint-Gervais, Haute-Savoie department of France. This canyon is located at high altitude and presents hardcore difficulties due to a strong glacial flow all year round, fed by a glacier bassin. In the winter of 2000 (winter is the best time to descend the canyon), the author and friend found every cascade under a matrix of ice and the canyon impassable to rappeling. Fortunately, the meander natural bridge located at the canyon exit can be easily visited from the rim trail.
