La Roche Percee II (Bouches du Rhone)

La Roche percee is located above the town of Montredon near Marseille city in Bouches-du-Rhone county. The arch sits on "Les Calanques", a wonderful natural area of deep narrow creeks on the Mediterraneen sea front. This arch is located on the special IGN topo map "Les Calanques" 1/15000. How to reach : From the main street in Montredon, turn south on the Boulevard de la Grotte Roland (Roland's Cave Boulevard)and drive to the end of the boulevard(aqueduct). Park there and take the marked footpath (brown, green and yellow) south. Walk up 400 meters to a cross path. Turn right on the trail marked with brown, green & black colors. Hike up 15O meters (west) until the next crossing path. From this point, the arch is visible to the west at the top of the ridge. Now, proceed on the brown & black trail up to the arch. It'is
a short trail about 15 minutes from the Boulevard.
