The
Dryfall Bridge of Tiseteka is a spectacular irregular natural bridge located at the head of the short Tiseteka Canyon (tributary of In-Djerane Canyon) in the Tadrart region of Tassili National Park in Algeria. This impressive and well-hidden natural bridge in located at GPS coordinate 24 degree 04.603' 10 degree 48.237'. The photos below were taken during the
23rd NABS convention in the Tassili NP led by the author in february 28 2006. The natural bridge, located on the side of a huge alcove and at the bottom of a large pool, is unique in formation. When the waterfall is active, water flows through the bipod legs of the bridge. This incredible flying-buttress of about 35 meters high was probably formed both from a colapsed section of the waterfall (usually a dryfall)and a colasped part of the inner alcove.
